2023 SCIAAI 1st Quarter Training

The S.C. Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators (SCIAAI)
is proud to announce the 2023 1st Quarter Training Seminar. The instructor will be Special Agent Certified Fire Investigator/Certified Explosives Specialist
(SACFI/CES) Brian Lovin, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
(ATF).
This course will provide information to the Public and Private Sector Fire
Investigators on the process of post-blast investigative and will administer
techniques that can be used throughout an investigation. There will be a hands-on portion of the class off site. The training will be based on NFPA 921, Chapter 22, Explosions, 2021 edition.
This training is scheduled for a minimum of 16 contact hours. Testing options will
be discussed at the training event. The member attendance fee is $35, and the non-member attendance fee is $100. Lunch is on your own. Pre-registration is required.

Friday, February 10, 2023. Non-member attendance must be pre-approved by the SCIAAI Board. Pending applicants are to pay a "member fee" to attend. Those
